Cities are increasingly renewed by large projects rather than by long- term visions and subsequent Masterplans. Public private partnerships are organized to engage strategic sites resulting in complex developments. These developments are comprised of multiple and often times conflicting interest, which have to be simultaneously negotiated. The traditional tools of architecture & urban planning are simply not equipped to deal with the conditions that arise. This critical condition will be discussed in Mitesh Dixit’s lecture - NO SCALE.

Mitesh Dixit - architekt i urbanista, absolwent Wydziału Architektury Washington University w St Louis (2004).Studiował także politologię i filozofi, obronił pracę magisterską z filozofii klasycznej.

Wcześniej pracował na stanowisku Project Leader'a w siedzibie głównej Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA). Swoją karierę zawodową rozpoczął w biurze Skidmore, Owings and Merrill (SOM) w San Francisco. Od 2011 współpracuje z Wydziałem Architektury TU Delft. W pracy akademickiej koncentruje się  nad procesami urbanizacji w Azji i USA. Od 2013 wraz z Kees Kaan'em współtworzy katedrę Complex Projects, której program nauczania eliminuje tradycyjne granice między urbanistyką, designem i architekturą.
